This role is contributing to the Industrial Automation division in Merida. You will be mainly accountable for: Design of electrical control systems for hoisting applications. Selection of electrical control equipment. Creation of Panel drawings and electrical connections. Provides technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Prepares project documentation in accordance with ABB and customers’ requirements. Qualifications for the role 2-5 Years of Experience in Electrical design and knowledge of Electrical Control systems. Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements. Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval. Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating quotations based on price, quality, and delivery time. Place purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery. Maintain accurate purchasing records and update supplier information. Support negotiations with vendors regarding pricing, terms, and conditions.
